Adobe Is Giving Students Free Access to Creative Cloud During COVID-19 Pandemic

It’s no surprise that most schools, community colleges, and universities are resorting to online teaching as the coronavirus pandemic spreads. Non-design students might have a smooth transition to online but as the students in the design realm migrate from working at school to working from home, there are issues that might arise. Students might not have the programs accessible from home.

Thankfully Adobe is taking action by offering students free access to their Creative Cloud programs. According to their statement, the offer will stand for 2 months, and end on May 31, 2020. That should give time, in hopes that our daily lives resume by that time. In a time where companies are understanding the current problematic circumstances, this definitely does a great deal for the design community.

To setup up your account for free student access, your school/organization’s IT admin must request access via Adobe’s designated page

If you are a student that already owns a Creative Cloud plan, you can still take advantage of this offer :

Step 1: Log In to Your CC Account

Login to your Adobe Creative Cloud account

Step 2: Cancel Your Plan

Head over to your account, and click Cancel Plan (you won’t actually be cancelling your plan)

Step 3: Go Through the Cancellation Steps

Continue through the steps to cancel the plan (Note: It may mention a cancellation fee but you will reach the offer before having to finalize and accept the fee.)

Step 4: Accept the Offer

Adobe will try to convince you to stay one last time before letting you go, and within the offers they present to you, will be the 60 day free offer.

Step 5: 60 Days Free!

You should now have 60 days free of Creative Cloud!

Are you ready for the future of Creative Cloud?
