YAHOOOO! Remember that old slogan? Yahoo! has been in the internet industry since, well…the beginning. In those 24 years however, there have been about 6 logo identity updates.
Designed and created by Pentagram, an internationally-known design studio, recaptured Yahoo!’s youth by the use of bold typography. Continuing the purple color scheme was a wise choice as it keeps the brand familiar, and not too “far from home.” Pentagram released the refresh late September and has since officially rolled out on the Yahoo! home page, mail service, and other Yahoo! related services.
